Ever since Dr. Khanh Le started school in her native Canada, she was drawn to and inspired by science classes. This interest led her to pursue a career in the healthcare field, which resulted in her studying dentistry. Dr. Le went on to earn her DMD from University of Montreal in 2002. After graduating, she found herself eager to continue her education, so she decided to pursue a specialty in periodontology, also at Laval. In 2008, she was awarded a Master’s Degree in Sciences with a Certificate in Periodontology. Today, she is pleased to be part of the dedicated Hingham Dentistry team, where she specializes in such treatments as gum graft surgeries, regenerative procedures, crown lengthening, dental implants, pocket reductions, and various non-surgical periodontal treatments.
Throughout her education and career, Dr. Le has received many honors and awards, including Best Clinical Instructor Award at McGill University (2009), Best Poster Award Presentation at the Laval University/GREB Research Fair (2007), Best Project in Dentistry Award at the Lutheran Medical Center (2004), and the Septodont Award (2002).
She is currently a member of the American Association of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Le enjoys learning about her patients’ backgrounds, interests, and culture. She finds that by establishing a meaningful relationship, both sides work together more effectively to achieve excellent oral healthcare results.
Dr. Le was born and raised in Montreal, and she is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese. She now calls the South Shore home, where she lives with her husband, son, and daughter. In her spare time, Dr. Le enjoys crafting, cooking and baking, playing the piano, and staying active at the gym.
