About Dentures & Partial Dentures

Despite your best efforts, age, disease, or injury can result in tooth loss. When you are missing several or all of your teeth, it can affect you greatly. For example, your ability to eat certain foods can be restricted and you often become self-conscious about your appearance. Dentures have been a solution to this issue for decades, and today’s dentures are more comfortable and natural-looking than ever.

A denture consists of prosthetic teeth attached to a gum-colored base. If all your teeth are missing on the top, bottom, or on both arches, you will need a full set of dentures. For just a few lost teeth, a partial denture can be created to fit between your existing teeth to replace those that are missing. Each denture is custom-made to the unique specifications of the patient, ensuring it fits both functionally and esthetically. Fabricated from quality materials and designed for an optimal fit, your dentures will restore reliable oral function and provide an esthetic improvement that will help your confidence level.

You will be provided with instructions on caring for your dentures and maintaining your best oral health with your new prosthetic. You may experience an adjustment period with your first set of dentures, but they will begin to feel comfortable and normal after a short time.

To ensure the best results with your dentures, continue your daily gum and denture care routine. Also, you will need to attend routine appointments so that we can keep your prosthetic properly fitted and in optimal condition.
